Gun Owners of Vermont's organizational mission is to supply facts to members about pro-gun and anti-gun legislation,  legislators' voting records, statements, and to lobby on the state level. Our membership votes on the gun issue regardless of their party affiliations.

We publish the Gun Owners of Vermont newsletter, which arrives in our members' mail, bringing you up to date with the latest information about gun issues in Vermont as well as national issues that will affect you, your rights or our liberty across the United States of America.

During the elections, Gun Owners of Vermont hosts a Candidate Forum at a participating fish and game club to which you will receive invitations, to meet with candidates for office and find out where they stand in regards to your right. Gun Owners of Vermont also publish the Candidate's Report card where we report to you their responses to our Candidates Survey. We'll look for your input during our meetings to issue endorsements.

We've been working successfully for firearms owners and we've won numerous big battles. Don't look to us to compromise!
