Additional Comments: WARNING: Probably the 2nd most anti-gun politician running for office in 2014! Has a SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY WORD statement on what gun control see WILL enact in Vermont! Synopsis: "I intend to propose legislation to make mandatory a yearly gun check, the cost, of which, to be assumed by gun owners. The permit application, yearly gun check will include a fee to cover the cost. I feel that improving conditions concerning gun control is imperative for the purpose of providing safety to our townships, our schools and the mountainous country that we all adore. I intend to propose legislation to set forth mandatory minimum sentencing for those found guilty to voluntary manslaughter, second degree and first degree murder." (Comment) Mandatory Minimum Sentencing is what is used in states like Massachusetts to enforce gun control. No matter what the infraction, it is mandatory jail time and felony charges.
