Additional Comments: Response to 10/5/14 GOV inquiry: My view of the Second Amendment to our Constitution is that it affirms and defends our God-given right to protect ourselves. No government can grant such a right…or take it away. The gun control proposals I’ve seen accomplish nothing useful and serve only to advertise the proponents’ fear of guns and dislike of people who own them.
