2016: Many of you know me as Waitsfield's Dog Warden, and member of Gun Owners of Vermont, Marie Leotta.
Here we are just days away from our election process and our representatives are pandering to the masses that new gun laws are Vermonts most pressing problem.
Not our ECONOMY, not our HEALTHCARE system, not our TAXES, and certainly not our youth on DRUGS!
Not a word about these issues.
Just gun control in a state with the lowest problem in the nation.
So, at this late date I am going to attempt to send a very powerful message to the powers that be by asking you to support me with your Write In Vote on Tuesday, August 9th!
I am not expecting to win, but if we show our representatives what truly is important to us, WE THE PEOPLE, can do just that.
So, I am asking you to search your conscience (and your heart) and WRITE ME IN as State Representative, Washington-7.

All the others are ANTI-GUN and refuse to bring up the topic.

9/15/2016: Leotta stated that Vermonters’ freedom to have guns and the high volume of firearms in the state is the reason why the crime rates are so low.
Leotta believes that Vermont is a “microcosm” of the United States, so people come to Vermont trying to implement programs that fail.
