Questionnaire Score: 90%
2016: 2nd Amendment Stance, Legislative Action and Voting History:
Both Pro and Anti comments were made, but he supports strong anti-gun candidates. He supports the radical Left Rights & Democracy group which is STRONGLY anti-gun, but answered the questionnaire successfully.
Additional Comments: Pro-Gun comments were made to us and the public, yet his actual support for anti-gun candidates and legislation shows he supports gun control. He supports the radical Left "Rights & Democracy" group which is STRONGLY anti-gun. Supports Zuckerman who is extremely anti-gun.
His second letter confuses us even more as he won't back Minter but will back all the other anti-gun candidates.
You decide.

Good evening, my name is Philip Aldridge I am an independent candidate for state Rep for Caledonia County. Your site lists my stance on the second amendment as unknown. I stand for the second amendment. We in Vermont have a rich heritage and tradition with regards to hunting and safe responsible gun ownership. As a state Rep in would do nothing to infringe on those rights and those traditions. Thank you.

Yet, on his website he states: "Vermonters have a long, strong hunting tradition. We also enjoy the nation's least restrictive gun laws. Sensible gun legislation may be necessary in light of recent tragic news events sweeping our nation."

2016: Protect Gun Rights by enacting NEW Legislation:
PROTECT GUN OWNERS RIGHTS
"Vermonters have a long, strong hunting tradition. We also enjoy the nation's least restrictive gun laws. Sensible gun legislation may be necessary in light of recent tragic news events sweeping our nation. But, Vermont must safeguard our Second Amendment rights in the face of the knee-jerk reaction to these senseless events."
