subject: My Position on the Second Amendment
Hi Bob:
Dan Feliciano mentioned that you were interested in my thoughts on the Second Amendment. I support it and I support Article 16 of the Vermont Constitution, which is even clearer.
I am a long-time NRA member and own a number of firearms myself, including the M1911A1 (purchased privately) that I carried many years ago as a Military Police Officer.
I was last rated at 93% for my positions on gun rights by the NRA in the 2012 campaign. In a nutshell, I believe that Vermont’s gun laws are fine as they are.
Hope that provides the clarity you’re looking for. Let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Regards,
Randy

7/25/2016: Brock said he opposes new gun laws and commented that the term “assault rifle” lacks definition and is inconsistent from state to state. He said banning weapons would likely lead to the creation of a black market.
