Additional Comments: Ben won a spot with a write-in campaign.
Per Jason Michael, 8/10/2016: "Ben Jickling just stopped by the house to chat. He is running as an independent for House of Representatives for orange-Washington-Addison. We really only discussed gun laws and he said all the right things. Vermont doesn't need new gun laws, the proposed laws such as UBCs will not have an effect on violence, and he knew vt was one of the safest states in the country and that Orange County had one of the highest rates of gun ownership. I was impressed."
Voted AGAINST S.55.

10/24/2016: The candidates also have different stands on gun control. Jickling said he is “open to any discussion around trying to prevent gun violence. What I think is really important is the issue doesn’t become a political talking point” and that finding consensus on both sides is important."
