OF KEY NOTE FOR 2016, Jeanette White is proposing a bill to LEGALIZE MARIJUANA for all Vermonters over the age of 21 starting July 2016.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THIS IS A BACK DOOR RESTRICTION ON FIREARMS OWNERSHIP FOR VERMONTERS!!!!!!
Under FEDERAL LAW, ALL users of marijuana are concidered ILLEGAL USERS of an ILLICIT DRUG!
Just like those folks who went through a FEDERAL BACKGROUND CHECK in order to obtain a MEDICAL MARIJUANA LICENSE, are now FOREVER BARRED UNDER FEDERAL LAW FROM POSSESSING AND USING FIREARMS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
Remember, "White’s bill allows for a limited number of permits to be issued to Vermont residents to grow marijuana in secure settings, to manufacture marijuana-related products such as creams and to sell marijuana to consumers. "
As soon as you receive your "permit" you admit to growing an ILLEGAL PRODUCT!
Jeanette WILL SUPPORT Universal Background Checks in 2017!
2018: Marijuana became legal. Gun rights were restricted for law-abiding citzens. Jeanette voted for EVERYTHING. |

(2014) While the Windham Democrat supports Gun Sense Vermont’s push for expanding background checks, White said she’s uncomfortable with targeting people with mental issues.
(However, in 2015 she was quite happy to support S.141 which reports people adjudicated for mental health reasons to the Federal NICS system to bar them from owning firearms!)

(2015) S.141: State Sen. Jeanette White, D-Windham, who caught wind of Jewett’s underhanded push for the “clear and convincing” standard, also expressed disapproval.
“I do not support that language. We had a waiting period, which I am not committed to, but we rejected the clear and convincing (standard). Our committee decided on a preponderance of the evidence,”
