Details: Former Bennington town officer, Christopher J. Gagne, was arrested in Massachusetts after being charged with threatening his roomate with a firearm. The Bennington Banner states Gagne pleaded "not guilty" to charges of: "first degree unlawful restraint with risk of injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possessing a weapon while committing a crime." Gagne has a long history of criminal charges and was currently wanted in the state of Louisiana since 2007 for false imprisonment and weapon charges, in addition to false impersonation of a peace officer. Other misdemeanor charges abound. He was also removed from office for falsified information on his application. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
