Details: Former Bennington town officer, Christopher J. Gagne, was arrested in Massachusetts after being charged with threatening his roomate with a firearm.
The Bennington Banner states Gagne pleaded "not guilty" to charges of: "first degree unlawful restraint with risk of injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possessing a weapon while committing a crime."
Gagne has a long history of criminal charges and was currently wanted in the state of Louisiana since 2007 for false imprisonment and weapon charges, in addition to false impersonation of a peace officer. Other misdemeanor charges abound. He was also removed from office for falsified information on his application.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
