Details: Vermonter Timothy Harding of Brattleboro, VT, violated MA laws.
"Harding was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle."
Per the Recorder: "The weapons, magazines, and ammunition found are legal in the man’s home state of Vermont. Vermont doesn’t require a license or permit to possess or carry loaded firearms, only that purchasers pass an in-store background check."
"Because the weapons were not locked up, the driver was not in compliance with laws that allow firearms to be transported through Massachusetts without an in-state license."
GunSense considers gun-related crimes taking place in other states a "VT Gun Incident" if the person resides in Vermont.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
