Details: Sentencing for a FOUR YEAR OLD crime. Events that convicted drug dealer Jewel Hurt was procecuted for occurred in 2010. The Cobra .380 pistol that was found on the NEW YORK man in October 2010, was STOLEN from Hurt the day before during a home invasion. The court allowed a plea deal, which dropped three of the drug-dealing counts AND THE CHARGE OF USING A FIREARM IN THE COMMISSION OF A CRIME! The 8 years were for DRUG trafficking charges and a count of "Felon-in-possession". GunSense is repeatedly using court dates and sentencing as "VT Gun Incidents" to inflate their false narative to make themselves look relevant. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
