Details: Once again, the SENTENCING of a convict is considered a "Vermont Gun Incident".
The crime, a home invasion where a 73 year old Springfield man was pistol-whipped, occurred in MAY of 2013.
The suspect was convicted and sentenced to "1 to 10 years", for the felony charge of "assault and robbery with injury resulting", and which would be served concurrently for a drug crime he is already serving.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
