'VT Gun Incident': 5/20/2014 Castleton man is charged with shooting his daughter's boyfriend and burying the body in a pile of manure. The man told police the boyfriend was physically abusing his daughter and verbally abusing the family.

Details: Stephen Pelletier shot and killed his daughter's boyfriend, Michael Wisell in the back and head, because he believed him to be abusing his 23 year old daughter. He buried the body under a manure pile.
The Rutland Herald reported that "Pelletier's 23-year-old daughter was granted a restraining order against Wisell in August 2013 after telling the court he had strangled her."
UPDATE 6/28/17: Pelletier was sentenced to 10 years for killing Wisell.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
