Details: Eric Jackson, 27, of Lyndonville, a convict escaped from furlough in May 2014 was shot by law enforcement after ramming police cars after a police chase.
August 8, 2014: 'The Attorney General’s Office this week cleared two state troopers who in May shot a man 29 times after he ran a stop sign, led police on a chase and rammed his car into their cruisers.'
3/8/2016 UPDATE: The 29 year old that was shot and paralyzed from the waist down by police following a high-speed chase is scheduled to be tried on ONE of 17 charges pending against him, escaping from furlough.
In 2017 Jackson filed a lawsuit against the two officers that shot him.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
