Details: Matthew Carr (50) of Burligton, shot himself after a struggle between himself and his father, Thomas Carr.
According to police, the father and son had a domestic dispute in which the son armed himself and threatened his father.>BR>Thomas Carr attempted to disarm his son and Matthew pushed his father through a glass door.
After that, the son turned the gun on himself.
He was being treated at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
Charges of first-degree aggravated assault and reckless endangerment were leveled.
