Details: Timothy Phelps, 23, of Royalton, and his friend Charles Manby confronted a couple (Samantha and Carson Mashler) on their property in South Royalton over a "romantic interest" of Manby's. Manby attacked the husband, Carson, giving him a black eye. Phelps, pointed a firearm at Samantha Mashler and her husband and cocked the hammer. The couple had attempted to defend themselves with a taser (which failed to function) and a glass bottle. A neighbor ran up shouting the police were ont heir way and the pair fled the scene. Phelps had been arrested and charged with drug distribution in April 2014. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
