Details: Shane Brodeur, 26, shot his girlfriend, Katelyn McFadden, 20, then committed suicide at his home in Townshend. McFadden was rushed to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., where she later died. Brodeur had called 9-1-1 and was requesting assistance in the domestic dispute between them. Both parties were shot before police could arrive. As stated by GunSense-aligned child psychologist, Dr. Sean Ackerman, "It is far easier to remove a firearm than it is to cure mental illness", yet, treatment for mental illness is much needed, but the focus is always on firearms. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
