Details: Gregory Allen Smith shot Wesley Wing as he walked toward Jake's South Street Market around 6 pm, Saturday, 4/18/15.
Police believe that Smith may have shot Wing simply because he called Smith's girlfriend a drug dealer and told her to "get out of his neighborhood."
Smith has a long criminal history, including attempting to elude, driving with a suspended license, and violations of conditions of release.
Kristin Walsh tried to help her boyfriend, Gregory Allen Smith, escape capture. Aledgedly, she tried to coerce witnesses and lied to police about Smith's whereabouts when asked.
UPDATE: 2/5/18 - “This wasn’t a self-defense situation,” Assistant Attorney General Adam Korn told the jury on Monday during opening statements. “There was no life threat. There was no harm. …This was not a fight that escalated from shouting to punching to choking. This was an execution.”
According to New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner Jennie Duval, Wesley Wing was shot three times in the abdomen and once in each hand,
11/25/18: This piece of garbage is getting away with MURDER. According to the Valley News: "The Vermont Attorney General’s Office has decided not to retry Gregory Smith, and earlier this month filed a notice of dismissal regarding the second-degree murder charge that could have provided the basis for a new trial. Instead, Smith is slated for sentencing on the lesser offense of voluntary manslaughter, which a jury convicted him of in February."
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
