Details: From the Auburn MA, police Facebook page:
"At approximately 6:49 p.m. on November 10, 2015, Officers H. Picard, S. Segur and M. Laskes responded to Auburn Street near the Post Office for a reported motor vehicle accident. While investigating the accident, officers observed a live shotgun cartridge inside one of the involved vehicles. The operator of the vehicle, Daniel Carver, was unable to produce a License to Carry a Firearm when asked. Further investigation at the scene revealed that Mr. Carver was also in possession of a loaded Taurus .357 caliber revolver. Daniel Carver, 34, of Barre, VT was arrested without incident and will be charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition without a License."
This is an important lesson in travelling out-of-state!
The whole incident began by the officer seeing ONE SHOTGUN SHELL in the car!
A word to the wise, STAY OUT OF MASSACHUSETTS if you are sloppy with your firearms and ammunition!
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
