CRIMES COMMITTED by Lawrence D. Elwell, of Hoosick Falls, NEW YORK:
12/22/2015: Home invasion at gunpoint in Bennington.

1/8/2016: Subway gunpoint robbery.

1/10/2016: Paulin's gas station gunpoint robbery.
Two Bennington women were implicated: Jessica A. Harrington, 34, and Amanda J. Sausville, 36, waited in a car while Elwell was committing the Putnam Street robbery.
A third woman, Lillian N. King, 30, was found to be connected to the Subway and Paulin's robberies. King helped Elwell rob both businesses by acting as a driver and a scout, as well as purchasing the handgun Elwell used in all three crimes.

SENTENCING (or lack thereof)

Lawrence D. Elwell, 34, pleaded guilty to felony assault and robbery with a deadly weapon (two counts), burglary into an occupied dwelling armed with a deadly weapon, and eluding law enforcement. A sentencing hearing is scheduled on Dec. 7. Other charges will be dismissed when he is sentenced, according to court records.

Amanda J. Sausville received a two-to-ten year suspended sentence after pleading guilty September 2016 to felony aiding in committing assault and robbery with a deadly weapon.

Jessica A. Harrington received a four-to-ten year suspended sentence after pleading guilty April 7 2016 to felony aiding in committing assault and robbery with a deadly weapon.

Lillian N. King received a three-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty in December to a single felony count of aiding in committing assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. Other charges were dismissed by the state.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
