Details: On Wednesday, 1/27/2016, Jesse Fitzgerald, 27, of Hyde Park, broke into a home on Gallison Hill Road in montpelier.
The homeowners were awakened and the husband kept him at bay with a firearm while his wife called 911.
A piece of firewood was used to shatter a window.
Police captured Fitzgerald with help from K9 officers.

HERE IS EXACTLY WHY THE BURLINGTON CHARTER CHANGES MUST FAIL!
If this homeowner had to have his firearm rendered inoperable, families would be at the mercy of any criminal that invades their home in the middle of the night!!
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
