Details: Police in both Massachusetts and Vermont are searching for a man they suspect held up liquor stores on Saturday night.
A 6 foot man wearing dark clothing, a camouflage hat and a face mask weilding a handgun, attempted to rob the Spirit Shop in Williamstown, MA. around 8:30 p.m.
The robber demanded money, but after an argument, ran out the door empty-handed.
About two hours later, a man matching the same description entered the Stewarts convenience store in Pownal, showed the same handgun and demanded cash. He fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a "white male in his 30s, standing 5-foot,11-inches to 6-feet tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a camouflage hat and face mask.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Scot McGowan at the Williamstown Police Department at 413-458-5733. In Vermont, contact the Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury at 802-442-5421.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
