Details: According to WCAX: Colchester Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 9 a.m. Monday 3/6/16 at 106 College Parkway. A call was made reporting a 36-year-old man was shot in the leg and shoulder. The incident occurred inside the victim's home at 106 College Parkway, Unit 2, across from St. Michael’s College. Police say the man is now at the hospital. His condition is not known, but officials say he is expected to recover. The other person at the home at the time was not hurt. Police say the suspected shooter is on the loose. They told us that there are indications that the victim and suspect may have known each other, but they say it is too early to speculate on what led up to the shooting, or whether the incident is debt or drug-related. Lt. Douglas Allen with Colchester Police made the statement, "Until we get someone in custody, there is some concern, however, we believe this was an isolated, directed incident." "Authorities say neither the victim nor the other resident gave them permission to enter the home, so they are seeking a search warrant."
UPDATE: An arrest warrant for Patrick Bombard, 29, of Williston, VT has been issued. According to My Champlain Valley: "Police say Bombard's behavior over the past six months has been increasingly erratic. He should be considered armed and dangerous if approached or cornered." |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
