Details: denying allegations that she held a gun to her ex-husband's head last week.
Brenda Barbour, 47, of Westminster is facing one count of aggravated domestic assault, first degree with a weapon, as well as reckless endangerment. Police alledge that she held a handgun to her ex-husband's head during a visit to Barbour's house to pick up a child. The apparent argument began over (presumedly child support) money. Conflicting stories from the two involved could lead to the charges of 1st degree domestic assault be changed to self defence, if the victim indeed did force his way into the home. The son's sworn statement, said, "It's not the first time (the victim) has pushed his way into a building or room to physically or mentally abuse my mother." Ms. Barbour had a previous arrest for disorderly conduct in July 2014. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
