Details: Patrick Perras, 45, of Essex Junction, an Iraq War veteran, was accused of firing over a dozen rounds inside his Essex Junction apartment.
Some of the bullets penetrated the apartment walls and broke a neighbor's window.
No one was injured.
A .40 caliber Glock 22 pistol was recovered.
According to WCAX: "Police say Perras made calls to 911 saying he was returning fire because he was being held hostage, attackers were using tear gas and he could see someone making a bomb."
Perras will again be receiving mental heath assistance from the VA.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
