Details: Around 9 am on 11/16 the Vermont State Police responded to a call about a despondent man with a gun on Main Street in West Rutland.
According to the VSP the man was threatening to harm himself. Crisis negotiators communicated with for approximately 7 hours.
No shots were fired and the incident ended before 5p m.
Vermont State Police Capt. Michael Manley told WCAX "We communicated throughout the day or him to come out and it took some time but we were willing to be patient and use all of the resources we have to bring it to a safe conclusion."
According to WCAX, "The man is under evaluation. No charges have been made at this time."
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
