Details: Anthony Smith , 53, of Saxtons River, was taken into custody after firing multiple rounds inside his Saxtons River apartment and some that hit neighboring buildings. Mr Smith was apparently experiencing a mental health crisis, and he surrendered to the VSP Crisis Negotiation Unit without incident. No one was harmed in the incident. State and federal authoities are still investigating. Smith has been charged with reckless endangerment, felony unlawful mischief, and use of a weapon while committing a crime. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
