Details: Shawn Young, 33, of St. Johnsbury was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangerment. Young accidently discharged his firearm inside his home as he prepared to go hunting. The bullet travelled thto a neighbor's home on Hollow View Drive in St. Johnsbury. No one was hurt.
2017 UPDATE: A new story emerged on 2/10/17: Young was instructing his cousin on how to handle a firearm when he accidentally discharged the firearm. A bullet was fired through a neighbor's wall and ended up in her bathtub. The neighbor, Christine Oliver, 68, wasn't hurt. The charge of Reckless Endangerment is being plea bargained in Feb 2017. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
