Details: William Bailey, 19, of Granville, New York is responsible for shooting 19 year-old Daniel Hein with a STOLEN semi-automatic handgun. Around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of 12/18/16, Vermont State Troopers responded to a report of an injured male in a vehicle. Law enforcement stated that four men, including Hein, were in a vehicle parked in a driveway and that William Bailey allegedly shot Hein. Bailey was then arrested and charged with manslaughter. Two of the other men, Dylan Czarnecki and Jonathan Testa, both 21 and from Poultney, left the scene before police arrived. Czarnecki was later located and arrested on probation violations, and it was discovered that Testa was a person involved in a home invasion in Fair Haven on 11/28/16 where a firearm was stolen. The group had been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana while hanging out with a group of friends when Testa told the others that the firearm was unloaded. Daniel Hein, 19, was pronounced dead from a gunshot to the head after Hein dared Bailey to pull the trigger to "see what would happen."
Johnathan Testa, 21, of Poultney, STOLE THE GUN in a violent robbery on November 28, 2016, Testa is wanted in Rhode Island for child Abuse. Rutland County State's Attorney Rosemary Kennedy stated Testa has "been in Vermont for about five months and in his own words, last month he was involved in a very violent assault and robbery."

NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
