DATE/TIME: 02/22/17 @ approximately 1835 hrs.
LOCATION: Panton Road, Panton VT
VIOLATION: Person prohibited from possessing a firearm
ACCUSED: Anthony Booska, 36, Vergennes VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 02/22/17, at approximately 1835 hours, Vermont State Police received a call about a suspicious male in the Town of Panton, VT.
Vermont State Police located the male and identified him as Anthony Booska. Investigation found Booska was under the influence of prescription medication as well as in possession of a loaded weapon. Further investigation revealed Booska was unable to possess a firearm due to a prior violent crime arrest in Vermont.
Booska was processed at the New Haven Barracks for this offense and also issued a Vermont Civil Violation for possession of marijuana. Booska was released on a citation.
