VICTIM: (The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.)

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Randolph, VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 04/12/2017 at approximately 0108 hours, Vermont State Police dispatch received a call from a female who reported that there was a male subject, Matthew Brown, at her residence who was intoxicated and refusing to leave. She stated that he was suicidal and had held a gun up to his head threatening to shoot himself. The caller later reported that he had discharged one shot from the firearm. Troopers responded to the scene and took Brown into protective custody. The Clara Martin Center assisted as Brown was evaluated at Gifford. Brown was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Orange Criminal Division on Monday, 04/17/17 at 12:30pm to answer to the charge of reckless endangerment. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
