Details: Residential Burglary - Spanish Star 1911 9mm handgun stolen April 25, 2017 Westminster Barracks/ Residential Burglary PRESS RELEASE/INFORMATION REQUEST CASE#: 17B102463 RANK/TROOPER: Trooper Colin Shepley STATION: Westminster CONTACT#: 802-722-4600 DATE/TIME: 04/24/2017 @ 09:09 AM LOCATION: Forest Road Westminster, VT VIOLATION: Burglary VICTIM: Jedidiah Walz CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Westminster, VT SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 04/24/2017 at 09:09 A.M. the Vermont State Police were notified of a forced entry burglary that occurred on Forest Road in the Town of Westminster. According to the complainant several items were taken including a Spanish Star 1911 9mm handgun, Xbox One and a small black safe. This occurred sometime during the overnight hours of 04/23/17 into 04/24/2017. If anyone has information or has seen suspicious activity in the area they are encouraged to contact Trooper Shepley, Vermont State Police Westminster at 802-722-4600.
