Details: Lawrence A. Griffen Jr., 49, with four felony convictions, wasunder criminal investigation into possession and sale of firearms in the Barre area since May 2017. The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives charged Griffen with selling a Mossberg 30-06 rifle on May 9; selling a Savage 16-gauge shotgun, a Lee Enfield .410 caliber shotgun and a Lee Enfield 303-caliber rifle on May 11; and selling a .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol on May 23. As a convicted felon, Griffen is barred the possession of firearms. Universal Background Checks would not have stopped this illegal activity. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
