Details: A stray bullet entered a home on Sand Hill Road Friday 8/11/17. The bullet entered the home through an open screen window after 9:30 p.m. The bullet entered the home at an "altered trajectory and appeared to have foliage attached." Investrigation shows evidence that the bullet was fired from an area north of the home, and the residents found it simply lying on the floor, meaning the bullet had no kinetic energy left after penetrating the screen. Police say the bullet was shot from a pistol, but police haven’t determined the specific caliber. The charge could be a misdemeanor reckless endangerment if the person is located. This is the second time in the last three years a bullet has entered an Essex residence Police say shooting firearms is not allowed in this section of town. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
