STATION: VSP Shaftsbury DATE/TIME: 10-05-2017 0755h INCIDENT LOCATION: (street, exit, or mile marker and town) 60 Lincoln Street; lot 9 Pownal VT VIOLATION: Aggravated Domestic Assault, Persons Prohibited from Possessing Firearms and Criminal DLS ACCUSED: Brown, Chris M. AGE: 33 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Pownal, VT SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10-05-2017 at 0755 hours the Vermont State Police responded to 60 Lincoln Street, lot 9, located in the Town of Pownal for a Domestic Dispute. Upon arrival it was learned Chris M. Brown of Pownal VT had showed up at the residence and threatened a female (Victim) with a firearm. Brown then left the residence in a vehicle, traveling to another location. Brown was located and arrested. Brown was charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, Persons Prohibited from Possessing Firearms and Criminal DLS. After processing Brown was brought to the Vermont Superior Court-Criminal Division and seen by the courts.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
