Details: VERMONT STATE POLICE // PRESS RELEASE // HUNTING RELATED SHOOTING INCIDENT - Grand Isle On Sunday November 12, 2017 at 0855 hours, members of the Vermont State Police Uniform Division and Bureau of Criminal Investigations, along with Wardens from the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department were dispatched to a hunting relating shooting incident on Whites Lane in Grand Isle, VT. Upon investigation, it was determined that a bullet from Frankie Bullis’ (Hebron, Connecticut) rifle hit Randall Gover ( Grand Isle, Vermont) in the foot. It is believed at this time that the bullet ricocheted and was fired from approximately 350 yards away. Gover was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. This case is active pending further interviews. The Associated Press reported that the two were NOT in the same hunting party. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
