ACCUSED: Wayland Ray
AGE: 28
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Huntington, VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 1/25/18, at approximately 1300 hours, Troopers with the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rockingham Road in Rockingham, VT for numerous violations. While speaking to the operator, drug paraphernalia as well as prescription pills were found on his person that were not prescribed to him. The operator, Wayland Ray was taken into custody at this time.
During a search warrant of the vehicle, 246 bags of heroin, over 2 ounces of crack cocaine and a loaded .40 caliber handgun were located in the car. Ray was processed for the above mentioned offenses and lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail.
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
