CASE#: 18A400549 STATION: St. Johnsbury DATE/TIME: 1/27/2018 at approximately 2038 hours INCIDENT LOCATION: Brook Road Newark, VT VIOLATION: 1st Degree Aggravated Assault, 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault ACCUSED: Don Dresser AGE: 37 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Newark, VT VICTIM: Donna Gray AGE: 46 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Newark, VT VICTIM (The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of domestic violence) SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 1/27/2018, at approximately 2038 hours, Vermont State Troopers responded to a residence on Brook Road in the town of Newark, VT for a report of a male threatening people with a pistol. Investigation revealed Don Dresser (37) threatened Donna Gray (46) as well as a member of his residence with a pistol before firing it multiple times into the air. Dresser was taken into custody on charges of 1st degree aggravated assault and 1st degree aggravated domestic assault. Dresser was lodged for lack of $25,000 bail. |
