Details: Rockingham residents, Randy L. Holmes, 27, and Ashley Cloutier, 26, were arrested on March 22nd, by the Vermont State Police following a drug investigation.
Charges include "knowingly possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime", "possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime that crossed state lines", and two drug charges.
Holmes was found to be in possession firearms, including two 12 gauge shotguns, a 20 gauge shotgun, a 16 gauge shotgun, a .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol, two 9mm pistols, a .308 caliber rifle, a .243 caliber bolt-action rifle and a 5.56mm rifle."
According to the Brattleboro Reformer, "Holmes, who has prior convictions from 2007 in Windham County of sexual assault on a child less than 16 and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child, was prohibited from owning or possessing firearms."
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
