Details: A case involving 17 STOLEN firearms belonging to the father of 23-year-old, Emma-Jayne Farina, of Strafford, ends with two arrests for federal changes of firearm trafficking. Farina, who disappeared for a week in May, alegedly took 17 firearms, including two AR-style rifles and used them to pay off a drug debt. A police sting was used to break up a guns-for-drugs operation in central Vermont. Dylan Avery, 20, of Barre, VT, and William Lamagdelaine, 26, of Springfield, Massachusetts, were charged in federal court with being convicted felons in possession of firearms. Lamagdelaine allegedly transported more than 50 firearms between Vermont and Massachusetts, according to the affidavit. According to the Times Argus, several firearms were recovered including "two 12-gauge shotguns, a 7.62 AK-style rifle and a .223 AR-style rifle. Beside those weapons was a large plastic case containing a 9-mm pistol, a .45-caliber pistol, four large knives, 14 assorted rifle and pistol magazines, 218 rounds of assorted ammunition, 27 shells for a 12-gauge shotgun in a bandolier, 10 rounds of ammunition, holsters, a pistol case and firearm accessories." Update: 6/8/18 Susan Silva is facing federal charges for Straw Purchasing a .40-caliber Glock, a 9 mm Glock and a .45-caliber Hi-Point from R & L Archery. Kevin Lacillade, 27, (3 felony burglary charges) is also accused of "shooting a deer at night." Dylan was arrested in 2016 with his father in possession of 2,500 bags of heroin. Drugs and Guns.
