Details: Pastor Richard Menard of the New Beginnings Christian Church in St. Johnsbury attempted to stop a burglar fleeing from his church early June 28th, when he confronted the burglar with a handgun while he made his getaway. There had been multiple burglaries at the church recently. The burglar simply ran off into the woods and no shots were fired. Police arrested Justin Kirby, 32, of Lyndon, who now faces a number of charges, including felony burglary and petit larceny. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
