Details: On the morning of 7/4/18, Courtney Gaboriault, 29, was murdered by her estranged boyfriend, Luke Lacroix, 30. Lacroix was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the home. He killed himself as law enforcement officers arrived on the scene. There were no restraining orders in effect at the time of the murder and he had no criminal record. Police are investigating what led up to this event. Rest assured that more gun control will be pushed by the Vermont Network in 2019. (2019 update, lots of guncontrol bills)
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
