Details: NOT A FIREARM CRIME: Essex police investigated an incident at the Champlain Valley Exposition Sunday night. Police responded to a report of "a male running with a handgun." Apparently, FALSE social media posts referred to an "active shooter" incident. Police found a juvenile in possession of "an air pistol that looked like a firearm." Police said the juvenile faces disorderly conduct and assault charges. No other information has been printed as to what actually happened. There is more to this story than is printed. A kid with a BB gun is an active shooter... A person walking with an UMBRELLA is now carrying an "assault weapon"... What the hell has happened to Vermont?
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
