Details: In May of 2020, Ferdinand “Feldi” Cruz, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon (he has convictions from 2006 in Connecticut for burglary, robbery and unlawful restraint). He was caught with two firearms in his home, a Ruger .380 caliber pistol, as well as a Taurus 9mm.

On 7/22/2021, Bridgette Lawlor, 34, of Bellows Falls, was sentenced for the illegal purchase of a firearm (the 9mm Taurus) for a convicted felon (Ferdinand Cruz) that occurred on 3/23/2020 at J&H Hardware in Bellows Falls. The .380 pistol had already been purchased by Lawlor.
This case was prosecuted under the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Program
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it.
