Details: Dujuan Williams, 26, was arrested on Wednesday 9/9/2020 after a series of violent attacks. On 9/8/2020 Williams assaulted a person by kicking him in the head multiple times. On 9/9/2020, Williams assaulted another man with a nail-studded stick near the Transit Center. Witnesses and surveillance video showed Williams hitting the victim. According to WCAX, "Police say the victim then confronted Williams with a machete and a third person pointed a possible gun at Williams" before Williams left the scene. Even after assaulting multiple persons, violently resisting arrest and injuring both arresting officers, Williams was released on conditions! Williams has multiple criminal charges from New York State, but NO convictions in Vermont, even though he’s had THIRTY "run-ins" with Burlington law enforcement. NOT A VERMONTER, but increasing our crime rate. |
NO law will prevent crime. No law will stop criminals from getting guns. Gun Control only effects the law-abiding citizen and the politicians know it. |
