Update on Darryl

My name is Roger Guay and I am Darryl Montague’s son-in-law. We have started a donations campaign for Darryl and Laurie to help with medical costs not covered by insurance as well as other expenses (travel, hotels, food, etc). Please share the following website with the members of the Federation, NRA representatives, and any other people who know Darryl.

The address to send checks for Darryl can also be mailed to:

Also a web-site has been established by his family:
Darryl is currently stable but is in an induced coma. The doctors are planning further surgeries. Laurie hasn’t left his side.

We also have a private website for friends and family to visit so that Laurie can update everyone on his status. The website is http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/darrylmontague

Please sign up for an account and use “bigdog” as the password. You can change the password after you log in for the first time.

Thank you so much for getting the word out! We are thankful that Darryl has a lot of people looking out for him.

Folks, as most of you have heard, Darryl Montague, Secretary of Vermont Federation of Sportsmen, was victim to a tragic display of violence yesterday in Westford, VT. Darryl is currently fighting for his life, but blood supply in the region is depleting quickly and donations are needed ASAP. Darryl can accept A+ O+ or O – blood types. The best location to donate is the American Red Cross Donation Center in Burlington, VT (32 N. Prospect St) and please be sure to donate in Darryl’s name. Time is extremely precious for Darryl and his family, so if you’re able to find time between now and EOD Friday, Johnson Woolen Mills will support your efforts with a $25 Gift Certificate to our Retail Store (bring proof of donation to our Johnson store to redeem). The Burlington Donation Center is open 9a – 6p Monday – Friday and Saturday 9a – 2p. If you can’t make it to Burlington, visit the Red Cross website to find the nearest donation center. Thank you very much.
