Statement of purpose of bill as intr oduced:<BR>
This bill proposes to prohibit the possession of a device, commonly known as a bump-fire stock or a bump stock, that is designed to attach to a semiautomatic firearm and increase the firearm’s rate of fire by using the energy from its recoil to activate the trigger repeatedly.<BR><BR>
