Subject: Juvenile and criminal procedures
Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes the following measures to reduce crimes of violence associated with juveniles and dangerous weapons:
1. Try juveniles as adults for felonious crimes.
2. Prosecute LANDLORDS for "permitting" felonies on their property.
3. Prohibit serial number defacing.
4. Prohibit "straw purchases," (even under duress!)
5. Prohibit the possession of firearms by various persons.
6. Carrying during felony concidered violent for determining bail.

(HERE IT IS HIDDEN WAY DOWN IN THE BILL!!)
7. To prohibit possession of SEMIAUTOMATIC ASSAULT WEAPONS by persons under 21 years of age.

8. to make juvenile case records and files available to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.


If the Democrats can ban the possession of SEMIAUTOMATIC ASSAULT WEAPONS by persons under 21 years of age, THEY CAN BAN THEM FOR PERSONS OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE!!!!

Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to
(1) prohibit the possession of firearms by persons subject to final relief from abuse and stalking orders;
(2) expand the list of criminal offenses with respect to which a conviction prohibits a person from possessing a firearm (INCLUDING careless or negligent operation); and
(3) REQUIRE A 72-HOUR WAITING PERIOD for most firearms transfers.

Subject: Criminal procedures; firearms; open carry; defense of self and others
Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes
(1) to prohibit the open carry of loaded firearms in public places;
[Vermont's unequaled Constitutional Right since the formation of our state!]
(2) to provide that a person may not raise self-defense or defense of others as a defense if the person’s use of defensive force occurred outside the person’s home or dwelling and the person had sufficient and available means of avoiding the use of force;
[Self-defense restriction on where you can protect yourself, family or strangers! The Democrats want EVERYONE to DIE at the hands of a criminal!] and
(3) to provide that only law enforcement agencies and federally licensed firearms dealers approved as qualified storage locations by the Department of Public Safety may store firearms relinquished by persons subject to relief from abuse orders.
[Expect expanding of this law to eliminate the Vermont Gun-Shop Project!]

Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to:
(1) require a 72-hour waiting period for most firearms transfers;

(2) repeal the statute that permits large capacity ammunition feeding devices to be manufactured in Vermont;
[Harms Vermont businesses]
(3) require that, when a firearm is not in a person’s immediate possession or control, the firearm must be locked in a safe storage depository or rendered incapable of being fired, or stored with a cooperating law enforcement agency, another State or municipal agency that permits firearms storage, or a federally licensed firearms dealer that accepts relinquished firearms;

(4) provide a premium discount on homeowners insurance policies to policy holders who store their firearms in compliance with safe storage requirements;
[Necessititates a PHYSICAL INSPECTION of YOUR HOME AND FIREARMS!]
(5) prohibit possession of semiautomatic assault weapons;
[FULL ASSAULT WEAPON BAN FOR ALL AGES!]
(6) prohibit using a three-dimensional printer to manufacture a firearm and prohibit distributing digital instructions for using a three-dimensional printer to manufacture a firearm;
[Destruction of your right to self-defence and freedom of speach] and
(7) permit firearms industry members to be held liable for damages in public nuisance lawsuits.
[This UNFAIRLY and ILLEGALLY targets the makers of lawful firearms, and opens Pandora's Box for the future law targeting EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS IN THE WORLD to be held liable for MISUSE of a product! Auto manufacturers will be held liable for drunk drivers, etc! A gold mine for Democrat lawyers and a nightnmare for the legal system.]
