9/27/18: He said some parts of the state’s new gun control legislation are fine, such as the bump stock ban, but others are unconstitutional. He said the law was a knee-jerk reaction to national news about school shootings and an incident in Fair Haven where a former student was accused of planning to shoot up his former high school.
“I would not be in favor of any additional regulation,” he said.
