9/27/18: As for guns, he feels people should have guns to hunt, but not own assault weapons.
“I feel very strongly about gun violence,” he said. “Our country has the most violent gun culture in the world.”
He said there’s a way to regulate firearms so that people’s rights and safety are equally protected.
“I’ve lived in hunting communities and strongly support people’s right to own a gun to hunt,” he said. “I do not think assault rifles should be allowed, I think they are weapons of war.”
